travel french polynesia raiatea and tahaa vanilla plantation

The boat ride from Raiatea north to Tahaa and a "le truck" ride across the coastal hills will bring you to this vanilla plantation.
The "plantation" itself included a stucco house, a shed, drying tables, and a large back yard with several plants.
The guide explained that vanilla was grown in many places on the island by many different people and was brought here for processing.
